Welcome graphic

Thought i'd try my hand at web site building and try and pass a test at the same time!

These are a few of my favourite things:

Mum, Ade and Boo are my most favourite people.

Chocolate, curry and lasagne (not at the same time though) are some of my favourite foods

Fizzy orange, R White's lemonade and Ovaltine are my favourite drinks (I don't 'do' alcohol very often, but if i do, then mine's a Guinness).

I would say that my tastes in music is somewhat catholic - anything from Mozart, Alison Krauss and Katie Melua to Elvis Costello, Richard Ashcroft, the Red Hot Chilli Peppers and the Manic Street Preachers.  I also love Northern Soul and Mowtown and have an ever growing vinyl record collection (a bit out of date I know, but you can't beat that scratchy sound!).

I try to see as many performances by the Royal Shakespeare Company http://www.rsc.org.uk, as I can but this has become increasingly more difficult since I moved to the Isle of Man http://www.isle-of-man.com/index.shtml in 2005.
I also enjoy watching art house films by directors such as Krysztof Kieslowski, Lasse Hallstrom, Claude Chabrol, Claude Berri and Francois Truffaut....not that i'm fluent in any European language other than English, but you soon get used to the subtitles!  Check out http://www.imdb.com/ for detailed information on these directors.

At the moment, on television, i'm enjoying watching:
and am looking forward to the new series of:

I should also admit that no so long ago, I found myself rather addicted to Living TVs Most Haunted - but stopped watching once my illusions had been shattered with a recent press article (i never really beleived anyway - honest!).

I don't 'do' sport anymore, unless it's a bit of recreational swimming with my other hald Adrian and our daughter who is affectionately known as 'Boo'.

Hobbies & Interests

As a familiy, we enjoy travelling (something else that's been hampered by moving to the Isle of Man - you've spent up by the time you've maganed to get off the island!), but regularly visit:
Northern France - where we stay at Chateaux les Eaux http://www.welcome.lez-eaux.com/ and
North Wales - where we stay in a loveley B & B in Borth y Guest called Llys Llewellyn  - http://www.betws-y-coed.co.uk/.

Currently ripping my new (old) house apart (or should that be the new house is falling down around me?) and hope that it'll all be finished very soon...watch this space....We recently bought the property in a fishing villiage/town called Port St Mary - you can look at some photographs, courtesey of Ronnie Yang here: http://www.pbase.com/ronnieyang/port_st_mary
